About Me

Since I was little I have had a passion to work with and help animals. I had long dreamt of becoming a vet, but the universe had other plans for me and led me towards a Bachelor of Science. So in order to fulfill my desire of helping animals, I volunteered to work with them as much as I could.

In 2010, I began volunteering at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary (BFAS) in Dogtown. Over the years I have met some amazing animals, along with some equally amazing people, and I’ve also established a number of repeat clients whom are Dogtown caregivers.

In 2016, I started an internship at Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary (YWS), which I still hold today. During my time there, I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience. However, the most amazing thing that has happened to me is meeting Rango, a high-content coydog. He constantly chatters away in my head, and to this day, I still look forward to and enjoy our conversations.

In 2020, I started working towards obtaining my Pet Master Herbalist Certification and Master Herbalist Certification. This journey has been fascinating as it combines my love for veterinary biology with the intriguing subject of holistic and herbal remedies. Currently, I am growing, cultivating, and creating various remedies to help with common canine ailments. I will graduate in September 2022 with over 2000 hours of training and become a fully certified Herbalist.

Starting in 2022, I have been accepted into the London College of Animal Osteopathy to begin my journey as a Licensed Animal Osteopathic Practitioner. I have completed the canine portion of the program (1200 hrs) and will be awarded my Int'l DipCO.

In June 2024, I was invited to join the Master Program where I will learn more advanced techniques and cranial sacral therapy to assist in your dog's holistic treatment regime..

I currently work with sled dogs at Snowy Owl Dog Sled Tours and other clients in Calgary and Cochrane.
