Herbal Horse/Dog First Aid Clinic

Service Description

A Practical Live Online Workshop Be better prepared for those everyday moments when your dog or horse needs a little extra support. Join Space Coyote Connections for a practical, interactive online workshop exploring how herbs can be used responsibly as part of your animal first-aid toolkit. Designed for both dog and horse owners, this workshop focuses on real-life situations, practical applications, and knowing when herbal support may be appropriate and when it's time to call your veterinarian. Rather than simply memorizing a list of herbs, you'll learn how to assess a situation, choose an appropriate form of herbal support, prepare and use it, and recognize important limitations and red flags. What We'll Cover During this approximately 3–3.5 hour live workshop, we'll explore: Building a practical herbal first-aid kit for dogs and horses Common herbs and preparations worth keeping on hand Minor wounds, scrapes and skin irritations Bites, stings and insect-related concerns Digestive support and important differences between dogs and horses Minor strains, swelling and soreness Stress and situational support Herbal powders, balms, compresses and poultices Practical preparation and application demonstrations Dog-specific and horse-specific considerations Real-life first-aid scenarios Herbal safety, precautions and limitations Recognizing when veterinary care is the appropriate next step Live Q&A This workshop is designed to provide practical knowledge you can actually use, whether you're at home, at the barn, travelling with your animals or simply want to be better prepared. No previous herbal experience is required.
